Every time I go canvassing (knocking on voter doors) I take pictures of issues I observe. I’ve filed 164 total See Click Fix reports – with 109 filed in 2025. Recently the staff on the other end started getting snippy with me – trying to make excuses or tell me I filed the wrong kind of report. This, while they’re closing tickets without actually having resolved the issue!
This is the same deflection as when an elected minimizes your complaint by highlighting some detail you got wrong. Guess what? I know what I see. Our neighbors know what they see. Too often the city looks like crap.

If you haven’t used it, See Click Fix is like a “311” hotline – a central place you can file requests and complaints with your city government. I prefer it over calling the Mayor’s office because:
- you can file a request at any time – not just City Hall hours
- when you upload a photo the app pulls the location from your photo – no need to look it up on a map or know the exact address;
- I think it holds the City more accountable than calling someone and not knowing what they wrote down, nor what they did with your issue.
They have both a mobile app for your phone and a website. You can file service requests at both, as well as track and view your requests and your neighbors’ at both. Apple App Store link here; Google Play Store link here.
Here’s the breakdown of my reports thus far:
